And there's that cloud draw distance limit that ASXP has. Even with the higher resolution cloud textures it sometimes just looks really bad. But then there are a lot of times that I just can't stand the way ASXP looks. Sometimes the they just don't look right and I switch over to ASXP. For the most part I do not get that in 圎nviro but that is not to say that I always prefer the way the clouds look in 圎nviro. I detest seeing clouds drawn overhead that extend equally in all directions and then abruptly stop. For me it's mostly the cloud draw distance. Let me add that I do not think there is yet a good weather engine for X-Plane 11. The me state that those fps numbers are just sitting at the end of the runway at those locations.

There is an fps drop with 圎nviro in most locations but for me it's only about 5fps and I still get enough frames per second to have a smooth simulation.
