stereo mix not picking up audio windows 10

I have read all over the internet but none of the solutions help me. If still no luck then go to the Realtek site and get a 'High definition' driver from there. If no luck with the latest Realtek, then try the older version. If it is you will then see the words 'Realtel HD ' on your recording & reading tabs. Make sure that the Realtek driver is installed. I want to activate 'stereo mix' in windows 7 Home premium on my laptop Dell Inspiron 3521, 'sound' in the criminal, and then open control record tab, right-click in the window, I opened, it shows no 'stereo mix' in devices either active or disabled, I have the latest audio drivers from the Dell website.
