If it does, that would be awesome, but if it doesn't, I have no reason to take it, as a headshot with the Mantis and Warp Ammo will kill any unprotected target on Veteran. I'm debating getting the Headshot Damage upgrade, but it's a ton of resources, and I'm not sure if the multiplier applies to foes under the protection of Armor/Shields/Barriers. The second is the Sniper Headshot Damage upgrade you can research (or arguably a question about headshots in general) I've come late into the fold of the sniper, and am loving using it now.
